We are CCV: four women, four friends, with more than 20 years of shared stages, shared passion and a shared vision of music and performance.
We grew up together through rehearsals, journeys, laughter and dreams that have become part of our story. Over the years, that bond has grown into an artistic partnership with a strong identity and a character all its own.
At CCV, we love to challenge expectations and reimagine the classics. Our performances are elegant, engaging and full of surprises, brought to life by the connection between us, the power of four women and the emotions we share with our audience.
We believe music has the power to move people, lift their spirits and bring them together. Every performance is a living experience: a meeting of talent, energy and passion that makes each stage a place for unforgettable moments.
Because classical music can be fresh, vibrant and exciting too. And we are here to prove it.
The brands, institutions and venues that have been part of our journey.
Find out where we will be playing next. We would love to see you there!
From classical favourites to pop and rock on strings: a fresh, adventurous musical journey.
Unique moments that capture the energy of our live performances.

TESTIMONIALS
Fellow musicians share their thoughts on CCV, a Valencia string quartet known for its musicianship, artistry and professionalism on stage and in the recording studio.
“Sensitivity, talent and beauty are qualities Cuarteto de Cuerda Valencia has in abundance. These four musicians make the music flow with complete naturalness, bringing subtlety, taste and performance of the highest calibre into perfect harmony.”
Pianist, composer and arranger
“A magnificent quartet, wonderful work and an excellent concert. Above all, outstanding professionals and even better people. Thank you for the extraordinary gift you gave me on Monday with the world premiere of the quartet I dedicated to you with such affection, admiration and respect. Thank you, too, for your invaluable commitment and the special care you bring to my music. I wish you every success in what is sure to be a brilliant and very promising musical career.”
Composer and clarinettist, Valencia Municipal Band
“I would like to say a few words about Cuarteto Valencia. First of all, they are excellent professionals who are doing important work to bring chamber music to wider audiences, especially works by Valencian composers, alongside repertoire from other periods. I wholeheartedly recommend their concerts: a wonderful opportunity to enjoy performances of exceptional quality, with a distinctive personal touch that draws you into the music. Congratulations, and keep up the wonderful work.”
Composer, COSICOVA
“I had the opportunity and pleasure of performing Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet with CCV, and it was a wonderful, unforgettable experience. Their close friendship gives them a special connection on stage and makes them a joy to work with. I thoroughly enjoyed playing with them.”
Clarinettist
“It was a pleasure to hear Cuarteto de Cuerda Valencia give such a magnificent performance at the Palau. I was thrilled by their interpretation of my work, Concert per a quartet de corda. It was an extraordinary concert.”
Composer, COSICOVA
“Playing with Cuarteto de Cuerda Valencia was a wonderful experience. A warm sound, excellent intonation and a beautifully blended ensemble. Rehearsals were a real pleasure, and the concert was simply fantastic. I would love to do it again.”
Principal clarinet, Madrid Municipal Band
“I met Cuarteto de Cuerda Valencia in November 2019 while producing an album for Jacaranda, a band from Castellón. We recorded at the auditorium in Vila-real, and I was particularly impressed by their sound, their strength as an ensemble and the professionalism of these four performers.”
Composer, producer and member of Presuntos Implicados; recipient of a Latin Grammy, an Ondas Award and a Spanish Music Award
“Elegance in strings…
When you take a quartet of this calibre out of its comfort zone and it responds at the highest level, with professionalism, freshness, elegance, quality and beauty, all you can do is sit back, applaud and admire its work. Congratulations!”
Musical director, Jacaranda
“When technique gives way to sensitivity, music becomes more than a performance: it enters the realm of emotion. Like the wood from which their instruments are made, they reach all the way to the finest branch. Cuarteto de Cuerda Valencia captures that fleeting, subtle moment when wood and the air around it become one.”
Composer and conductor of the Orquestra Simfònica de Vila-real and Coral de Sant Jaume
“Their fingers took flight like velvet wings, reaching the listener’s heart and bringing the dream of my humble words to rest there for a moment. These women with the wings of angels.”
Composer, COSICOVA
